This unit addresses the differences between sexual and romantic orientation and attraction. We will discuss how this can be an important distinction for the asexual and aromantic community. We address the ways that heteronormativity can harm the LGBTQ2S+ community.

By the end of this unit, you will be able to:

• understand the experiences of asexual and aromantic people
